DiveBot Labs: Waterproofing your Camera
With the snow melting, we're finally ready to take DB-1 out for a spin. While I was waiting for the weather to clear, I installed a better camera. This first episode of DiveBot Labs explains how I go about converting a webcam to a DiveBot Camera.

Introducing the Divebot Project, and Divebot-1

Welcome to the Divebot Project. The intention of this project is to use Divebot-1, the ROV that my sons and I have built, to explore as many interesting locations as possible, starting with locations close to our home on Vancouver Island, Canada. We intend to publish video of these adventures to this blog. We also intend to construct further ROVs, and publish video of our progress here as well.
We are planning our first divebot adventure at Thetis Lake, in Victoria, BC, sometime before Christmas, weather permitting. We look forward to posting the video of our first adventure soon after.
